This year, our Spring Celebration takes place on 7 and 8 September, and we’re celebrating with a difference. 😉
Spring Celebration Weekend
7 September • Outreaches
On Saturday, 7 September, you have three opportunities to STEP OUT in faith and join one of these outreaches:
- A prayer walk focused on our city and its people.
- A practical outreach to Betel, one of our Faith Promise Partner Ministries.
- Or put together party packs for a children’s ministry in Mamelodi.

8 September • Celebration
Come ready to worship and dressed for spring on Sunday, 8 September, from 10:00, as we celebrate with vibrant expressions of diversity and festive colour. Our Sunday service will be a rich, multigenerational and multilingual expression as we embrace the different languages that reflect the beautiful diversity of our congregation. And, yes, there will be ice cream. 🍦😋
C4G children, Reverb youth and Hatfield Young Adults: We’ll all join the main service for our multigenerational celebration. Note, too, that there’s no evening service on Sunday, 8 September.
Stay the Afternoon • Connect as a Community
After the morning service, we’ll continue the celebration as a community:
- Bring-and-braai, fires will be provided or bring a picnic to share. 🥩🥗🔥
- Potjiekos competition: do you have what it takes to prepare a potjie fit for a master chef?
This competition is perfect for a community group to prepare lunch together. Registration is essential because space is limited! - Fun activities, including bubble soccer, a jumping castle, and a foam pit for our youngsters.

Hatfield Singles: we’ll meet at a designated gazebo as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of our ministry, and yes, we’re having cake! 🥳🎂
