On Sunday, 20 September 2026, our entire church family is gathering across generations for our Spring Celebration. It’s a space to step out into the sunshine, celebrate God’s goodness together, and explore what it looks like to truly flourish as a community.
🎷 Soul & Jazz in BLOOM • Friday, 18 September • 19:00 • Minor Auditorium
Kicking off the celebrations is an evening where cherished classics and exciting new songs come together in one seamless musical journey. Hosted by your favourite Hatfield musicians and vocalists and open to all, this showcase blends the best of soul and jazz, revisiting unforgettable favourites while introducing fresh sounds that speak to a new generation. Tickets are R100 per person via Quicket >>, or R120 at the door.
🗓️ Spring Celebration Service • Sunday, 20 September • 10:00
Our morning celebration service brings together all generations of our church family, including our C4G, Reverb, and Young Adults. Expect a joyful time of worship, celebration, song, and fellowship as we gather as one church under our theme, BLOOM, and consider together what it means for our faith to flourish. To end the service on a sweet note, you’ll be treated to an ice cream before we continue the rest of the festivities.
🌳 Spring Village • 12:00-16:00
Following the morning service, we move to our Spring Village for an afternoon of food, fun, and connection. Whether you are looking to get competitive or simply kick back and laugh, our afternoon line-up has something for everyone:
- 12:00-13:00 – Prayer & Connect: Need a quiet moment or prayer? Stop by the Prayer Gazebo to connect with our prayer team.
- 13:00-14:00 – Karaoke: Grab the mic under the Big White Tent.
- 13:00-14:00 – Boeresport, Blue & Bingo: Traditional outdoor games and high-stakes fun on the soccer field.
- 14:00-15:00 – 5-a-Side Soccer: Fast-paced tournament action on the field.
- 14:00-15:00 – Board Games: Hosted by our Hatfield Singles.
- 🌞 All Afternoon: Jumping castles and an inflatable obstacle course for the kids!
What to bring:
- Your own food and meat to braai.
- Camping or picnic chairs.
- A gazebo and/or picnic blanket.
- Your family and friends!
If you’d prefer not to bring your own food, a few vendors offer food and cold drinks for sale.
🌺 Hatfield in Bloom Exhibition • 12:00-15:00
A special highlight of the day is our ‘Hatfield in BLOOM’ Exhibition, showcasing the many ministries, departments, and ways to get involved within our church community. Whether you’re new to Hatfield or have been part of the church for years, this is a wonderful opportunity to discover ways to connect, serve, grow, and flourish.

- Training & Discipleship: Hatfield Leadership Academy, Hatfield Ministry School, Sunday Bible Study, and Modular Worship Academy.
