Hatfield INITIATIVES
Home-grown projects started right here in our own Hatfield community.
HATFIELD CHILDREN’S HOMES
Our children’s homes provide a safe, restorative place for unprotected children and the support of foster families.
HOSPITAL MINISTRY
This ministry provides visits and prayer to those in Tshwane hospitals (in partnership with HospiVision).
CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS
We continue to network with churches and ministries, both locally and internationally. We value that these connections are built on sound relationships.
OUTREACHES
We offer outreach opportunities locally and internationally in partnership with our partner ministries and missionaries.
VOLUNTEER
Opportunities are given to our church members to use their time, skills and talents to make a difference in multiple spaces.
STUDENT SPONSORSHIPS
This sponsorship offers partial sponsorship for students to allow them to participate in Year of Your Life (YOYL), a one-year, full-time Christian gap year programme. We also sponsor YOYL outreaches to expose the students to ministry beyond the borders of the church.
THE CHRISTIAN NETWORK (TCN)
TCN is a network of churches and various ministries across Southern Africa. Its overall vision is for the Church to thrive and establish God’s Kingdom in every sphere of life.
SUPPORT OUR CITY
Through this initiative, we cooperate with churches and NPOs within the Tshwane Metropolitan Area.
HATFIELD WAREHOUSE
The Hatfield warehouse shares God’s love practically by distributing donated clothing and household items to vulnerable families and communities in need.
PRISON MINISTRY
This ministry reaches out to offenders by presenting the Alpha course at Zonderwater Prison on Thursday mornings, participating in family days, and praying for both the team and those they minister to.
DIGNIFIED WORK DAY PROJECT
We are collaborating with The Way Home Ministry to facilitate a dignified work day for homeless people on our premises. This offers dignified work for remuneration and has a strong discipleship and evangelism component.

PARTNER MINISTRIES
Our Partner Ministries bring real change to areas across the full spectrum of need.
Hatfield provides a spiritual covering and volunteer base, and Faith Promise funds some of our Partner Ministry projects.
These are registered NPOs, financially and operationally independent of Hatfield, who partner with us in varying capacities to bring social change.
They serve in the following areas: Families, children, youth and the aged, addictions and brokenness, evangelism to specific interest groups and biblical justice.

MISSIONARIES
Reaching the nations through those specifically called to their frontlines across the globe.
Our missionaries are people called from Hatfield to different parts of the world and missionaries from abroad who serve within the Tshwane municipal area. They impact the following countries and geographical areas: the Middle East, Russia, Armenia, Southeast Asia, Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Two of our missionary families live in high-risk countries, and so their details are not listed.
Zimbabwe
Deidre is based in Zimbabwe. Her focus is to come alongside the local church to serve their community. Deidre is continuing the work that she and Theunis started in Zimbabwe. As they identified many needs among young people, they started the Shanduko Transformation Project to facilitate life and lifestyle change.

Russia
Dave and Frances who serve in Russia, Armenia, Indonesia and Malaysia. They love to see the Spirit move and have had much success over the years equipping leaders as church planters.

Namibia
Ursula, who has made the Namibian town of Opuwo her home. Through their evangelistic and church planting ministry, God has transformed the town, which (among other things) now has a flourishing local church, a thriving Christian school and a home base for regular outreaches to the villages surrounding it.
