Rise | 2023 Easter weekend

Easter, the most remarkable love story of all time, can evoke sadness and joy in us. It is a significant time of both mourning and celebrating. Good Friday evokes the darkness, pain and sorrow of Jesus, beaten, bruised and shamed for our transgressions. Juxtaposed with the light, relief and joy of Easter Sunday and Jesus’s victory over death to make a way back for us all.

Join us this Easter in celebrating from the perspective of Christ glorified, not only when He rose from the grave but also as He was lifted up on the cross. The hour has come. He is risen. And we especially encourage you to bring those on your frontline (family, friends, a colleague) to share in this momentous victory of the light over the darkness.

The Way of the Cross | 3 to 9 April

Follow Jesus’s steps from the last supper to His resurrection.

This is an age-old journey that never gets old! 🙌🏽 The practice of pausing – to reflect and remember – is so important in the life of a Christ-follower. You can never repeat this journey enough times as the Holy Spirit reveals something new each time you walk this path with Him. So let’s never grow numb to the matchless price He paid.

Start at the Prayer Room (back of the church building) and journey through the stations set up on our premises. Ask the Holy Spirit for fresh revelation as you place yourself in the Easter story.

*Important to note:

The Wednesday journey, which starts at 17:00, is tailor-made for families and facilitated by our children’s ministry pastoral couple.

The Friday and Sunday journeys are our busiest. So if you plan on joining a facilitated journey on these days, make sure to book your slot on Quicket >> to help us limit numbers for a meaningful journey.

Unable to make the journey in person? Download a copy of our booklet – The Way of the Cross – and work through it in your own time, wherever you are.
