Let’s make SPRING a thing!

This spring, let’s step outside and celebrate life, community, and our beautiful heritage over the weekend of 18 and 19 September.

All weekend and beyond

From 17 September, participate in our on-site Praise Walk. This 2km Praise Walk features different prayer and praise pointers along the way. It starts on the lawn outside our main entrance.

Tie a South African flag-coloured ribbon on the cross overlooking our city and say a prayer for our beautiful country.

Bicycle fun day for children
18 September | 15:00-17:00

Children aged 3 to 14: Bring your bicycle and meet us in the parking area behind the Young People’s Facility (YPF) for some outdoor fun!

Pre-schoolers: Explore our mini road track and tick the challenges in your road achievement map as you learn about the different road signs. There will be snacks and a water hole.

Primary school: Sign up for different races throughout the afternoon and challenge yourself to a personal best time through our race track. Meet cycling specialist Anne Bester and pick up some tips on how to practice and eat well. She’s got some serious biking talent to show us and would love to see your biking skills too.

Mom and dad: Grab a coffee at our fueling station as you cheer your child/ren on!

Come ready to praise and dressed in your South African colours or heritage best as we celebrate our cultural heritage. And yes! There will be ice cream (because #Hatfield).

Reverb Youth: We’ll be joining the main service for this family celebration.

Children: Meet in the Young People’s Facility for a spring celebration tailor-made for you. Ask mom and dad to join you after the service for some paper-plane fun!

Joining us online? We’ve organised an ice cream drive-through just for you, after the morning service, from 12:00. Children, Howie will be there to wave hello! The drive-through takes place in the main parking lot, in front of the church.

Sunset Service
19 September | 17:00-18:30

Young Adults, our service is starting significantly earlier so we can end the day celebrating God’s goodness while watching the sunset.

Arrive from 16:00 for coffee, connection, and COVID-screening. There’ll be live music to make the screening smoother. (And ice cream!)

Download song lyrics for our evening together here. >>

Cre-Ate Café will have snacks, coffees, and light meals available for sale on 19 September. They will be open from 09:00 before the morning service and from 16:00 before the evening service.
