“I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”
– Psalm 9:1 NIVUK
Spring is coming, and we have so much to be grateful for!
God is consistently so good, and what better way is there to reflect on His goodness and welcome the new season than by celebrating as a community? 🌼 Here’s what you can expect from this year’s Spring Celebration.
Gratitude Walk | All weekend
Take part in our 2km gratitude walk that will feature specific prayer pointers along the way, helping you focus your prayer on being grateful. The gratitude walk will start off on the lawn outside our main foyer entrance.
Spring Celebration service | 11 September | 10:00 till late
Come ready to praise and dressed for spring. And yes, you guessed it … there will be ice cream … 😀 because #Hatfield! 🍦 🍦 🍦
Toddler’s World | Our Toddler’s World will be open during the morning service for children between 18 months and four years old.
C4G, Reverb Youth, and Young Adults | Our morning service is for the whole family, and we encourage everyone to join the celebration in the main auditorium.
Young Adults service | If you usually join our evening service, take note that there will be NO evening service on 11 September because of our family service in the morning.
Stay the afternoon | Connect as a community
After the morning service, we’ll continue the celebration as a community at the school’s main sports field:
- Bring-and-braai: bring your own meat and sides. We’ll provide the fires. 🥩🥗🔥
- Bring your gazebo (if you have one), camping chairs and comfortable shoes.
- We’ll have jumping castles and waterslides for the children – bring costumes, towels, and sunblock.
- Live music. 🎶
- Snacks and coffee, including boerie rolls, for sale.
