You’re invited to join us in the Prayer Village as we start the year prayerfully around the theme Journey with Jesus.

The Prayer Village opens at 09:30 on Sunday 18 January and closes at 09:30 on Sunday 25 January. Our first corporate session is on Sunday evening (18:00-19:30), and from Monday the Hatfield family will pray together in the mornings (06:00-07:00) and evenings (19:30-21:00). You are also encouraged to actively seek the Lord in personal prayer throughout the week. A pastor will be on duty at all times should you need any assistance.

The purpose of fasting is not to change God’s mind or to make us more righteous before Him, but it helps us humble ourselves, discipline our bodies and focus our attention. It also intensifies our prayers and makes us more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Moreover, it strengthens us to see victory over our enemies. The emphasis on fasting is not primarily to give up things, but rather to focus ourselves fully on God.

Fasting is a feast … It is about ingesting the Word of God, the beauty of God, the presence of God, the blessings of God. Fasting is all about spiritual gluttony! – Sam Storms

Come worship with God’s people, spend time in the garden or the Sanctuary and grow deeper in your prayer life!
