Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” – John 11:25
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. – 1 Corinthians 1:18
As Christians we have a clear line between good and evil and we aspire to good but when someone falls we know that we are still being transformed and can hold up a hand to the person to pick them up, but we never settle and just accept their sin, but we encourage them in God’s kindness to come to repentance.
God is asking us as a community to follow Him so that He can lead us into His will. We need to actively pursue God’s will, even when unsure we must have the faith to keep going
The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him
In community, we can help people develop the attitude of service as well as assist them in strengthening their posture of worship so they can teach, lead, give exhort etc… to God’s glory in the workplace and anywhere else.
In Romans 12:1-2 Paul links obedience to worship by showing us that acceptable worship is daily living a sacrificial life. It is only when we sacrifice ourselves that we open the space for God to come and do new things in us.
