HOW TO KEEP YOUR DELIVERANCE

‘If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.’ – John 8:36 (KJV)

PUT on the armour of God. Read, study, and apply the armour daily. Never leave a hole in your armour. (Ephesians 6:11-18)

USE wisdom when sharing your deliverance experience with those who do not believe in or understand the deliverance ministry. (Matthew 7:6; Mark 6:5-6)

STUDY the scriptures daily and spend time with God. (2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11; Matthew 4:4; 1 Peter 2:2; Ephesians 4:12; James 1:22-25; Psalm 119:105)

DEVELOP a consistent prayer life. Pray in tongues many times daily. (1 Corinthians 14:14-15; Jude 20; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; James 5:16)

HAVE spiritual fellowship with other members of the Body of Christ, particularly where the gifts of the Spirit are manifested. (2 Timothy 3:15; 1 Corinthians12:7-14; Hebrews 10:25)

GUARD your mind and thoughts; refuse to think negative, critical, resentful or selfish thoughts. (Philippians 4:6-8, Proverbs 6:2) Take every thought captive. (2 Corinthians 10:35)

CONFESS your deliverance by faith, not feelings. (1 John 5:14-15; Hebrews 10:38;
2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:6; Joel 2:32)

PUT every area of your life under the Lordship of Jesus. (James 4; Romans 12:1-2)

GET rid of unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness towards everyone. (Mark 11:25-26; Psalm 66:18)

CONFESS sin quickly. When you do or say things you are sorry for, ask God and the person you offended to forgive you. Forgive yourself, accept forgiveness and go on as if it had never happened. (Matthew 5:23-24)

DESTROY (burn) all occult objects and literature. Be careful what you bring into your home. Read only those things pleasing to God. (Acts 19:18-19; Deuteronomy 18:9-13)

‘Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free,
and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.’
– Galatians 5:1(KJV)
